We had booked this company from a recommendation from a friend, who told us we would not be disappointed, how right was he, we were on a cruise sailing around South Africa three of us included my mother who is 80 years of age, I explained my dynamics to Craig who runs the company, who tailor-made and fitted around our timings with great care kindness and concern, from the time he picked us up at the dock, addressed our requirements and proceeded to take us on a magical tour of his homeland, with his knowledge and expertise we headed to the elephant Park, and was able to take us away from the beaten track and hence why we witness a bonanza of wildlife from elephants to lions, included we enjoyed a fabulous lunch, managed to catch some more wildlife and as a fitting end to the tour took us around his beloved city of Port Elizabeth, it was a highlight of the trip and even though we were told that the other cities of Durban and Cape Town were more salubrious, I truly believe Port Elizabeth and its surrounds truly stand shoulder to shoulder alongside them, I highly recommend Craig as your tour leader and guide should you find yourself in this location.

Wildlife bonanza and city thrown in

We worked with Craig in a three day project to do a 360° video of Addo elephant national park for a German travel operator. His committment and support were incredible. He went through all the difficulties to obtain for us the necessary off road license and did everything to bring us into optimal positions for the shooting. Even when he hit a black cow in the darkness at full speed which left his beautiful Landrover fatally damaged, his priority was our well being. He is such a pleasent person. We came as strangers and felt like friends when we had to leave.

The perfect guide!

Spent the day touring both Kragga Kama (am) and Addo Elephant Parks (pm) . We were able to get very close to the animals and got fabulous pictures. Craig was very informative and pleasant to spend the day with. Our best experience was the cheetah encounter in the morning. Craig knew just when to have us roll up our windows. The cheetahs climbed all over the vehicle peering in at us. Craig also knew all about the birds we saw (his friends had dared him to see 400 different birds in a year and he was well on his way to do this) and a lot about the vegetation and its uses. We particularly like the toothbrush bush. Highly recommended!!!!

What a great tour and guide!!!!

With only a day in Port Elizabeth Craig gave us an excellent insight into the history, culture and daily life as we took a city and township tour. Craig was most knowledgeable and no questions seemed to be out of bounds. We had lunch in a local home and heard and saw things that a large group tour would not cover.

Really worthwhile day trip

On our last day in PE, six of us went with Craig and Pieter to visit several townships out of PE. The half-day trip was an eye-opener with many interesting small businesses along the way – food being cooked in the open, pottery shop, micro-retailers, and a night-club/pub for a closing drink, and a soccer game with some of the little kids on the street outside. Craig is a very knowledgeable guide and he showed us many things we had not encountered in the more touristy areas of PE. A fascinating few hours, thanks.

My husband and I struck lucky when we booked Craig (when still in UK) for a few tours whilst in Port Elizabeth. Such a warm hearted and genuine guy who oozes enthusiasm and provides a first class, service. After an hour in his company we felt we had known him for years. We booked 3 tours with Mosiac all tailored to our request … a whale watching tour, led by a wonderful young girl from Nottingham who had studied animal behaviour and really knew her stuff ( she knew where to find mammals too – we saw two whales emerging from the sea and a pod of over 200 dolphins swam along side us – absolutely magical ) ; a gem of a wine tour with a very charming lady who had a small vineyard and was fascinating to discuss all things South African with and an all day tour of the Addo Elephant National Park. Craig has a real passion for natural history and his knowledge throughout the day of the safari tour kept us captivated and entertained. I still can’t believe the sights we saw !!!! Craig knows Addo inside and out and has years of experience. An absolutely fantastic three days – memories to last a lifetime – and I can’t thank Craig ( and his wife Karen) enough for making our trip so memorable and enjoyable. We also learnt so much about animals in their natural habitat, I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a reliable, professional and honest service when in PE. Great fun too!

Superb, honest, reliable, professional service
