  With two game drives per day, morning and evening, you can embark on an intimate guided tour of this pristine land. Survey the areas, witness the birds of prey or spot one of the Big 5 from the comfort and safety of our open game vehicles. Our rangers and guides are passionate about wildlife and knowledgeable in their respective fields of expertise. Expect to take away new insights, an appreciation for Africa, and an unforgettable experience.
• Spa treatments
  Many of our lodges boast their own Relaxation Retreats offering personalised treatments to suit your specific needs. Some of the therapies available include massages, body scrubs, healing facials, manicures and waxing. The retreats pamper and allow you to relax amongst the sights and sounds of nature. .
• Conservation experiences
  Become part of the solution when it comes to nature conservation, by helping to conserve a vanishing way of life. Shamwari Game Reserve is proud to be associated with institutions that strive to promote awareness and provide information and education. There are 3 such facilities available to our guests: The Ian Player Rhino Awareness centre, the Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre and the Born Free Big Cat Sanctuaries.

All rates are quoted and invoiced in South African Rand (ZAR) on “per person per night” basis. • Adults travelling: o Adult Sharing rates apply to persons (12 years and older) sharing one room/suite/tent. Persons 12 years and older are considered adults and will therefore require their own room/suite/tent at the applicable rates. o Single Adult rates are only applicable when one adult is staying by him/herself in one room/suite/tent. Not applicable when an adult is sharing a room/suite/tent with a child/children. o Note that all rooms can sleep a maximum of two adults.

o Above mentioned rates are inclusive of breakfast, lunch, dinner, high tea, game drives, guided walks, tea, coffee, water, game drive beverages, tourism levy and 14% Vat (all other beverages are excluded and can be settled upon departure). o Persons under the age of 16 years are not permitted on any walking safaris.

As safety is our primary concern, no children under the age of 4 are permitted on game drives.

We do have childminding services available on request, in addition to a host of kid’s activities to keep them occupied.

Conference Venue Hire

Aside from being less than one hour’s drive from Port Elizabeth Airport and a malaria free zone, you’ll be treated to 5-star luxury accommodation. Delegates can expect to enjoy majestic views of nature at its finest, making it the experience of a lifetime.

Our conference rates are R350 per person, which includes:

Depending on the amount of delegates attending, we have three conference venues available  to choose from:

The Barn at Long Lee Manor

• This venue offers various seating options and can accommodate up to 50 delegates.
• Eagles Crag Boardroom
  Ideal for medium sized functions, this room can seat a maximum of18 people
• The Boardroom at Long Lee Manor
  This venue is suitable for smaller parties of up to 8 people.

• Guide Presentation – An opportunity to learn more about our guides and their passions.
• Potjie Cook Off – Teams compete to build a fire and cook the best potjie pot, a much loved traditional South African

Additionally, there are available from external providers on request for a 10% handling fee. Please note that this handling fee does not apply to the bush dinner.
